Spicy Pineapple Cocktail 🍍🔥
🍊4 tbsp of sugar
🍊1 orange (3 tbsp of orange juice and 1 slice for garnish)
🍊1 tsp of fennel seeds
🍊 Cold Water
METHOD
You'll get the citrusy notes of the orange, the sweetness of the syrup, and the subtle anise/licorice flavor from the fennel. It tastes just as good as it sounds - not too sweet, and it's good for you! Give this refreshing combo a try.
To Make
For the Fennel Syrup:
🥬 Combine the sugar, 1 tbsp of fresh orange juice, 3 tbsp of water, and the fennel seeds in a small saucepan.
🥬 Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. (If it begins to boil, reduce the heat). Let it steep for 30 to 40 minutes.
🥬 Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a cup, discard the solids.
🥬 Refrigerate until cool.
In your Spärkel bottle, add:
🍊2 tbsp of the Fennel Syrup, 2 tbsp of fresh orange juice, and cold water until you reach the first fill line.
🍊Choose your preferred carbonation level and Spärkel! We recommend level 3 or 4.
🍊In a glass, add ice and pour the Spärkel water. Garnish with a slice of orange and enjoy!
