Service is applicable to smart doorbells, chime & transformers. Includes troubleshooting the device, including power, chime functionality, internet connectivity, audio/video, and app configuration. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger electrical or doorbell system repairs. Product must be purchased & installed separately. Does not include running new doorbell wiring or repairing existing wiring. We currently service Google Nest and Ring 1, 2 and Pro Doorbells.

Smart Thermostat Diagnostic

Service is applicable to smart thermostats. Includes troubleshooting the device, including wiring, power, internet connectivity, and app configuration. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger HVAC repairs. Product must be purchased & installed separatley. Does not include HVAC repairs or replacements.

Smart Camera Diagnostic

Diagnostic services are applicable to smart video cameras and their accessories. We do not service Smart Cameras that are hardwired, such as the Ring Floodlight Cam or Ring Spotlight Cam Mount. Products purchased separately. We will troubleshoot the camera, including power, WiFi connectivity, audio/video, and app configuration. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger electrical repairs. Does not include electrical modifications, such as outlet relocation or camera hardwiring. Does not include Ethernet wire pulling or cable modification

Security System Diagnostic

Diagnostic services are applicable to WiFi security systems and accessories. Products purchased separately. Includes diagnostic of base station, keypad and associated sensors. We will troubleshoot the security system, including power, internet connectivity, and app configuration. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger system repairs. Does not include diagnostic of security cameras or life safety devices such as Smoke and CO Alarms. Does not include repair of faulty wired sensors

Smart Door Lock Diagnostic

Diagnostic services are applicable to smart lock and their accessories. Products purchased separately. We will troubleshoot the lock, including power, internet connectivity, locking and unlocking, and app configuration. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger door or frame modifications. Does not include door handle installation or repairs.

Home Wifi Diagnostic

Diagnostic services are applicable to WiFi network systems. Products purchased separately. We will troubleshoot all wireless mesh WiFi, modems, routers, and extenders. Resolve minor issues if possible or recommend next steps for larger system repairs. Does not include initial WiFi setup, running new ethernet, replacement router and/or parts.

What if my diagnostic appointment takes longer than 1 hour?

Your OnTech technician will discuss if additional time and repairs are needed after troubleshooting. Fees apply for each additional hour of service.

Can I purchase the product and installation during my appointment?

Product and installation are not included in the diagnostic appointment and must be purchased separately.
